SO... my flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam got cancelled...but thankfully I was able to get on another flight in the morning. Added a little stress on the packing...but we got it done!! I now leave at 12 (which means leaving the house around 830) instead of 440 and have to fly to Detroit before leaving for Amsterdam. But that's okay. The flight from Amsterdam to Tanzania didnt seem to be effected.
I got my work placement this past week. I'll be working at two orphanages. I'll learn more once I get there. I know ill be working in the nursery some of the time. I'm excited about it. Though it will be challenging and heart breaking.
It is hard to believe that the trip is finally here....I'm ready for it!
