My only comment for today is that..... a kid a work bit my butt...twice. haha. i just love my kids....they make me laugh!

Post Eleven

At the end of this week I will have been in Africa for 2 months. It doesnt feel like 2 months. Its hard for me to believe that in 5 weeks I will be home. I dont want to leave Tanzania but I need to go home. However, I've already been trying to figure out how I can come back to Moshi in the near future, very near future. I love it here. I love the children, I love the people, I love the culture, I love the town, I love seeing Mt. Kili everyday, I love the music. I love that its sunny everyday! I'm just happy here. I have found a part of myself that I have never known and I never want to lose it. I dont know how to describe what I have found but its a good thing. When I think about coming home I get excited about seeing my family and friends but thats its. Life here seems to fit. [something mom and dad are, im sure, excited to hear, ha]. I dread having to leave my kids at work...but i still have 5 weeks with them! :) :) :). They are the most special people ive ever met. Ive learned so much from each and every one of them. I am a far stronger person than I ever knew. Things in America just dont seem to matter anymore. I dont miss getting my eye brows waxed, I dont miss my car (though i wish i could drive myself here becuase drivers are CRAZY), I dont miss shopping, I dont miss so many things that I thought i would. Life is simple here in a very different way. With all their flaws they have a great thing going on here.

Well, other than all that I went on safari this weekend. I did a day trip to a local park. It was about 4 hours away. It was hard to be back in a truck and to have to pass the wreck site BUT being in the park was awesome! I love the animals. They were so close....ill post pictures soon. I want to do another safari before I come back, though my first reaction after getting back on saturday was to never go again becasue being in the truck sucked...BUT the more I think about it the more i wanna go see more animals. I loved it. I saw tembos, twigas, dik diks, zebras, etc. (yes, some of the animals names are in swahili, ha). Speaking of swahili...im learning. I'm getting better...we'll have lesson when i get back!:)

What else, I dont know....theres a lot. But I'm about ot walk into town for lunch so gotta run!

Theres been a lot of blogging lately....yall proud? :) haha.

SO........HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I've been doing my best to get to the internet to update my blog but I've been super busy or the internet has been down. Its working a little today but it is super slow. I was planning on uploading pictures to show you all what I've been doing. So I'll try again tomorrow.

Other than that everything is going good! Placement is great. I love my kids and would love to bring several home with me! :)

I went to Zanzibar the other weekend with several girls. Had a great time. The beach was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen!!!

I've decided to stay the full 3 months here! So I'll see yall Thanksgiving. I dont want to leave my kids before I have to. They have been my saving grace!!!

There is lot more to report but the slow interent is driving me crazy so I'll try again tomorrow!
